A hand trolley engages and lifts the front wheels of a vehicle so that it can be readily manhandled in position in a showroom or garage. A wheeled trolley frame (4') is backed up to the car so that downward sloping ramps (5') about the front of the wheels. Hydraulic jacks (9') are pressurised to cause a roller (6') to swivel and in so doing engage the back side of the wheel tyres, thus forcing them up the ramps and off the ground. Manoeuvring of the car can now take place.
