NOISE CONTROL DEVICE FOR OUTDOOR DEVICE OF AIR CONDITIONER

PURPOSE:To make variable allowing level of noise generated from an outdoor device so as to provide a comfortable air conditioning by a method wherein as it is judged that a time is in a daytime, a noise target value is high and in turn as it is judged as a night time, a noise target value is corrected to show a low level and then operations of an air blower and a compressor are controlled in such a way as a noise level actually measured is lower than a target value. CONSTITUTION:A daytime and a night time are discriminated in response to a brightness of an outdoor environment detected by a light sensor 12. During a day time, a noise target value is corrected to show a high value, and at a night time, it is corrected to show a low value. A compressor 2 and an air blower 6 are controlled for their operations in such a way as a noise level measured by a noise sensor 11 is lower than this value. When a surrounding air temperature detected by a surrounding air temperature sensor 13 is high, the noise target value is corrected to show a low value and in turn when the surrounding air temperature is low, it is corrected to show a higher value. The compressor 2 and the air blower 6 are controlled for their operations in such a way as the noise level actually measured is lower than the corrected value. In addition, a noise control of the outdoor device 8 corresponding to the surrounding air temperature and a noise control corresponding to a day time or a night time are combined serially to improve a comfortable air conditioning throughout a year.
