LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE WITH CORAL-REEF

PURPOSE:To easily obtain a landscape architecture of coral-reef at a low cost by collecting bone fragments covered with coenosarc from a coral colony, fixing the fragments at regular intervals to the surface of a substrate fixed in water and culturing the fragments in the environment. CONSTITUTION:Bone fragments covered with coenosarc and having a dimension of preferably 2-10cm are collected from a colony of coral and fixed to rock, concrete block, etc., in water with a nail, bolt, etc., made of stainless steel or with an adhesive, etc. The objective coral-reef is produced by culturing the fixed fragments in a marine environment suitable for growth, i.e. free from the deficiency of feed planktons, intrusion of crown-of-thorn, destruction with wave, etc.
