EQUIPMENT FOR CONTROLLING WINDING TENSION OF ROVING IN ROVING FRAME

PURPOSE:To achieve the spinning of a roving constantly under an appropriate tension, by providing a roving frame with an equipment which detects the position of the roving travelling from a front roller to a flier top and then controls the rotating number of a bobbin according to the detected position. CONSTITUTION:A bobbin lead type roving frame is provided with non-contact roving position-detecting equipments SB, SM, ST, 25 and 24 to detect the position of a roving R travelling from a front roller 1 to a flier top 2a and with a mechanism controlling the rotating number of a bobbin according to signals transmitted from the equipment.
