WATER-LEAK PREVENTIVE BELT OF WATER FEEDING BAG FOR CUT FLOWER

PURPOSE:To supply water to cut flowers during conveying by providing engaging belts having contractible elasticity nearly parallel on both top selvages of a strip-shaped water-leak preventive belt and holding a water cutoff agent between the engaging belts and on the top surface of a water-leak preventive belt and further a tacky part on the end of the preventive belts. CONSTITUTION:Engaging belts 2 and 3 having contractible elasticity are provided early parallel on both top selvages of a water leak preventive belt 1 formed into the shape of a strip having optional resiliency and flexibility. A water cutoff agent 4 consisting of highly water absorbing resin powder is applied and held between the engaging belts 2 and 3 and on the top surface of the water leak preventive belt 1. A tacky part 5 of an optional width is provided on the top surface of the water-leak preventive belt 1 on the side opposite to the side having the arranged engaging belts 2 and 3. That is nipping parts 2' and 3' of the engaging belts with the surfaces to which the water cutoff agent 4 is applied up are inserted and held between the trunk parts of cut flowers near the lower ends of the trunk parts 7 of the cut flowers where plural trunk parts 7 of the cut flowers are bundled. The preventive belt 1 is then tightly wound around the trunk parts 7 of the cut flowers to peel a release paper 6, stick and fix the tacky part 5 to the back side part of the preventive belt 1.
