SYSTEM FOR GENERATING VARIABLE LENGTH SLASH BY PICTURE DATA

PURPOSE:To easily generate a slash having a designated length by using binary picture data and shifting longitudinal and transverse pitches of a model of a slash pattern by every prescribed pitch component till the designated length to synthesize a slash. CONSTITUTION:A slash generation indicating information 101 indicates the model of the slash pattern and the length of the slash, and a slash pattern part 102 manages the model of the slash pattern with binary picture data, and a pattern information part 103 manages pattern information indicating the size of the model of the slash pattern and the inclination of the slash. The slash pattern model is inputted to a slash generation control part 104 from the slash pattern part 102 in accordance with slash generation indicating information 101, and pattern information is inputted to this control part 104 from the pattern information part 103, and the control part 104 generates the slash in a picture data synthesis area 105 by pattern synthesis, and thus, the pattern of binary picture data is synthesized in the picture data synthesis area 105 by the slash generation control part 104.
