NON-EXPANDED ANTISTATIC SYNTHETIC RESIN PRODUCT

PURPOSE:To provide the titled non-expanded product, which is little charged and can be used as an electrically conductive resin material, by incorporating a polyhydroxy compd. having an ethylene oxide content not lower than a specified amount and carbon black in a thermoplastic resin. CONSTITUTION:A non-expanded antistatic synthetic resin product obtd. by incorporating a polyhydroxy compd. (B) having an ethylene oxide content of 15% or above and carbon black (C) in a thermoplastic resin (A) such as PE or PVC in a proportion of 10-70pts.wt. of the combined amount of components B and C per 100pts.wt. component A. This product can be applied to materials which should be non-electrostatic, such as electrostatic recording paper, spinning roll etc., and is useful as a package for semiconductor devices such as IC or as an electrically conductive resin material. A resin obtd. by incorporating 10-200pts. wt. components B and C in 100pts.wt. thermosetting resin as component A in place of the thermoplastic resin can be used for the same purpose.
