PURPOSE:To enable detecting of an antigen with a sensitivity and specific properties higher than a conventional agglomeration reaction reagent, by using a monoclonal antibody sensitized red blood cell obtained through sensitization of a monoclonal antibody, in which a lymphocyte obtained by a cell fusion method is produced, to an animal red blood cell. CONSTITUTION:One type or more of monoclonal antibodies, in which a lymphocyte obtained by a cell fusion method or a transformation method is produced, are sensitized to red blood cells of a mammal, reptiles, or birds with an ion intensity of within a narrow range of 0.01-0.05, pH at a sensitizing tine is set to pH 7-9 in the case of, for example, an HBS antigen monoclonarl antibody, and to pH 4.5-7 in the case of an antihomo IgG monoclonal antibody and an antihomo albuminmonoclonal antibody, or they are sensitized within a narrow pH range as described above to prepare a monoclonal antibody sensitized red blood cell. Using the sensitized red blood cell, an antigen is detected by an inverse possitive antibody red blood cell agglomeration reaction having a higher sensitivity and specific properperties when compared with that of the conventional reaction reagent.
