PURPOSE:To prepare a glass laminate interlayer compsn. excellent in the light resistance, thermal stability, film-forming properties, adhesion to glass, processability in adhesion, and sound insulating properties by compounding a specific vinyl chloride copolymer with a specified amt. of a glycidyl methacrylate polymer and a plasticizer. CONSTITUTION:100 pts.wt. vinyl chloride copolymer obtd. by copolymerizing at least one monomer (e.g. ethylene) selected from the group consisting of an ethylenically unsatd. hydrocarbon, a vinyl ester of a fatty acid, an acrylate, and a vinyl ether with vinyl chloride is compounded with 1-10 pts.wt. glycidyl methacrylate polymer and a plasticizer (e.g. dioctyl phthalate).
