PURPOSE: To prevent growth of barnyard grass, etc., by using a foliar-application herbicide composition containing a terpolymer adjuvant that reinforces herbicidal effects and fixation by rain without necessity of adhesives. CONSTITUTION: This foliar-application herbicide composition, which is particularly effective for preventing growth of barnyard grass, Rhizome Johnsongrass, Rhizome quackgrass, etc., contains a foliar-application herbicide and a terpolymer adjuvant of formula I or II [Me is methyl; A is a 6-24C alkyl; G is -R'(OCH2 CH2 )m OZ (R' is a 2-6C alkylene; Z is H, an alkyl or acyl; (m) is 12-32); (x) is 0.01-3; (y) is 0.1-1.25; (z) is 0.75-1.9] in a quantity of 0.1-10wt.% of the aforesaid herbicide.
