PURPOSE:To obtain a nib excellent in abrasion resistance, extending the life of a writing utensil to a large extent and having a good writing feeling by forming a resin layer wherein a specific phosphazene monomer is polymerized to the surface of a resin nib main body. CONSTITUTION:This resin nib is obtained by forming a resin layer wherein a phosphazene monomer represented by formula 1 is polymerized to the surface of a resin nib main body. The phosphazene resin layer is formed to the surface of the nib main body by coating the surface of the nib main body with a compound composition prepared by adding the phosphazene monomer to a solvent and further adding a photoinitiator and other additive thereto and subsequently drying the coating layer to remove the solvent to cure the same. The nib wherein the phosphazene monomer is polymerized is formed to the surface of the nib main body is extremely enhanced in abrasion resistance and extends the lift of a writing utensil to a large extent. Since the nib is made of the resin as a whole, this nib is excellent in a writing utensil as compared with a nib made of glass, ceramics and various metals and can be prepared in low cost using an industrially simple method.
