SYNTACTICAL RULE ADDITION AND CORRECTION PROCESSING SYSTEM FOR NATURAL LANGUAGE INTERFACE

PURPOSE:To prevent a user from adding incorrect rules or erroneously correcting rules by determining the definition to interpret the description form of syntactical analysis. CONSTITUTION:A frame where information related to syntactical rules is described in a fixed form is prepared in a syntactical rule data base 1, and the record form of records to be registered in the data base is determined, and syntactical rules are registered in accordance with this frame. Retrieval results are converted to a text form and are outputted onto the screen of an input/ output device 3, and rules can be added and corrected based on this information. Thus, error of rules which a user tries to register is indicated, and generation of a rule group easy for the user to understand is backed up.
