PURPOSE:To adjust the quantity of power of be supplied to a power system by performing the output control of a variable velocity type generator prior to the output control of the synchronous generator inside the power system. CONSTITUTION:A load dispatching office inside a power system has proper number of power stations equipped with variable velocity type generators and power stations equipped with synchronous generators. A signal selector, by the command signal based on the effective power quantity control of a power system judged by a central processor, instructs increase or decrease of effective output power to the power station equipped with a variable velocity type generator provided inside the system, prior to other power station equipped with a synchronous generator. As a result, the power station, which has received this command signal, executes the control of the variable velocity type generator required for addition or subtraction of the quantity of effective power instructed by the load dispatching office.
