VERB DICTIONARY FOR PROCESSING NATURAL LANGUAGE AND ITS CONSTRUCTING METHOD

PURPOSE:To miniaturize a dictionary by comprising the dictionary of a fundamental information storage part to store the case information of a fundamental verb, and a difference storage part to store difference between the case information of the fundamental verb represented by a verb pointer and the case information of the verb. CONSTITUTION:A verb dictionary is comprised of the fundamental information storage part 1, a verb pointer part 2, and the difference storage parts 3-1 to 3-n. The fundamental information storage part 1 stores the case information of the fundamental verb having fundamental and comprehensive meaning. A pointer for the case information of the most similar fundamental verb is attached on the verb pointer part 2 as the case information of the verb other than the fundamental verb. Also, the difference storage part 3 stores information insufficient in the case information succeeding from the verb pointer part 2, and the information to be deleted. In such a way, the dictionary can be miniaturized.
