ADJUNCT FOR IMMUNOTHERAPY

PURPOSE:To obtain an adjunct for immunotherapy useful for immunotherapy, especially suppressing reject in transplantation of organ such as heart transplantation, comprising a prostaglandin-containing fat emulsion as a main component. CONSTITUTION:An adjunct for immunotherapy comprises a prostaglandin- containing fat emulsion as a main component. As a main component, PGA1, PGA2, PGB1, PGD2 or derivative thereof may be cited as prostaglandin (PG for short) in the emulsion. The flat emulsion comprises 5 to 50% (W/V) vegetable oil (e.g. soybean oil, sesame oil or castor oil), 1 to 50 pts.wt., preferably 5 to 30 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. vegetable oil of phospholipid and a proper amount of water. The emulsion may be used in immunotherapy using an immunosuppressive agent (e.g. cycloporin, mizoribine or prednisolone).
