THERAPEUTIC MEDICINE FOR PEPTIC ULCER AT STOMACH AND DUODENUM

PURPOSE: To obtain a medicine containing trapencaine and rantidine in a specific weight ratio, useful for the treatment of gastric and duodenal peptic ulcer diseases, and having stomach-protecting, antiulcerative and antisecretive actions. CONSTITUTION: This medicine comprises (-trans-2-(1-pyrrolidinyl)cyclohexyl ester of 3-n-pentyloxycarbanilic acid of formula I and N- 2-[5-(dimethylaminomethyl)furfurylthio]}ethyl-N'-methyl-2-nitro-1,1- ethendiamine of formula II or their acid adducts in a weight ratio of 3:10 to 10:3 and, if necessary, a conventional pharmaceutical excipient.
