PURPOSE:To obtain the title control film obtained by blending a specific high polymer substance insoluble in water and having small permeability to water with a mixture of pH-dependent substances having different properties at a specific ratio and capable of providing a sustained release preparation which is administered once a day. CONSTITUTION:The control film containing (A) 60-85 pts.wt. of 1:2:0.1 copolymer of ethyl acrylate, methyl methacrylate and trimethylammonium ethyl methacrylate chloride, (B) 15-40 pts.wt. total amount (amount of component B2 is preferably 0.4-2.3 times that of the component B1) of B1: 1:1 copolymer of methyl methacrylate and methacrylic acid and B2: 2:1 copolymer of methyl methacrylate and methacrylic acid and (C) 0-30 pts.wt. (based on total amount of the components A and B) of 1:2:0.2 copolymer of each components of the component A. The releasing characteristics of the aimed film show extremely specific characteristics, i.e., 5-20% release for 3hr in pH1.2, 30-50% release for 3hr in pH7.2 and rapid release in pH7.2, e.g. =70% for 2hr in pH7.5.
