PURPOSE:To enlarge the storage effective area by arranging plural pallet trucks capable of freely reciprocating in one direction along guide rails in the reciprocating direction, and moving the pallet trucks to form an access passage for a forklift at the time of warehousing delivering goods in a flat storage warehouse. CONSTITUTION:For example, at the time of storing or delivering stored goods in a pallet 6a of pallets 6 fixed on the left of a passage 2, three movable pallets 5 of columns (a)-(d) of movable pallet columns are moved as shown by a void arrow to form an access passage 7 extending from the passage 2 to the pallet 6a. Thus, a forklift 3 passes through the passage 2 and the access passage 7 to reach the pallet 6a. By this arrangement, the effective area in storage can be improved.
