MANUFACTURE OF CORELESS COIL OF COPPER WIRE FOR CANNING WELDING ELECTRODE

PURPOSE:To solve problems such as a tangle and a space factor by softening a copper wire, then, hardening it through bending rollers and winding the copper wire round a spool. CONSTITUTION:The copper wire 10 softened by a softening machine 3 is wound round the spool 7. Afterward, the spool 7 is removed and the copper wire 10 is made coreless. With this, the coreless coil of the copper wire for a canning welding electrode is manufactured. The copper wire 10 is then softened sufficiently by the softening machine 3 so that it can resist the change of the copper wire 10 feed rate at the time of changing the spool 7. Afterward, the copper wire 10 is hardened through the bending rollers 6 and then, wound round the spool 7. By this method, the copper wire can be wound in the coreless coil form by a bundle packer (winder) 5, etc.
