DETECTION OF LEAKING-IN OF LIGHT COMPONENT GAS IN CENTRIFUGAL SEPARATION CASCADE OF GAS

PURPOSE:To detect the presence or absence of leaking-in of light component gas to a cascade simply and surely by detecting characteristic pressure change phenomenon that accompanies leaking-in of light component gas into the cascade. CONSTITUTION:Pressure gauges 13 and 23 are provided in feed header pipings 12 and 22 of uppermost and lowermos steps of the cascade. The pressure change of feed headers of the uppermost and lowermost steps is measured at all times. The leaking-in of light component gas into the cascade is detected by detecting the decrease of pressure of the uppermost step feed header and the increase of pressure of the lowermost step feed header. Consequently, the presence or absence of leaking-in of light component gas into the cascade cab be detected simply and surely and enabled to contribute to regular operation of the cascade and the securing of safety.
