摘要

PURPOSE:To provide a filler metal for welding a nickel-base heat resistant alloy which provides a weld metal having no defect in a creep characteristic by incorporating a trace of B in the Ni-base heat resistant alloy. CONSTITUTION:A filler metal for welding an Ni-base heat resistant alloy is produced by incorporating 30-150ppm B in the stage of melting the nickel-base heat resistant alloy. The filler metal added with a trace of B acts to clean the columnar boundary in binding of B with the impurity therein and to improve high temp. strength in the solidified structure of the weld metal and therefore the creep characteristic is maintained in a good region. The weld metal having an improved high temp. fatigue characteristic is thus obtd.
