REMOVAL OF RUST ON OUTER SURFACE OF STEEL TUBE

PURPOSE:To permit to remove the rust of two steel tubes continuously by a method wherein the subsequent steel tube is followed and connected to the tube end of the preceding steel tube and, thereafter, a V-shaped roller is lowered to dispose the preceding steel tube on a skew roller together with the following steel tube and rotate it in the manner as same as the preceding steel tube under removing the rust thereon. CONSTITUTION:The v-shaped rollers 5, 6 are employed for introducing the steel tube 2 into a throwing port 1 and withdrawing the same steel tube 2 out of the throwing port 1, The subsequent steel tube 2' is introduced rapidly by the V- shaped roller 5 when the removal of the rust of the preceding steel tube 2 is being effected to follow and connect to the end of the steel tube 2 under rust removing and skew rotating, then, the V-shaped roller 5 is lowered and both of the steel tubes 2, 2' are rotated obliquely togethter by the skew roller 3. According to this method, the rust removing process of the steel tubes 2, 2' may be effected along the whole lengths thereof continuously without employing a turning roller by connecting the subsequent tube when the end of the preceding tube has passed.
