The chassis (1, 2) consists of two parts (1 and 2) that are connected toeach other by a hinge (3) with a vertical hinge axis (4). The finishingapparatus (5) is mounted on the front part (1), which is carried by twoseparately powered caterpillar tracks (10). The rear part (2) is carried bya steer able tracked vehicle (11) that has two separately poweredcaterpillar tracks. Cylinder and piston mechanisms (17, 18) assist the hingeaction between the parts (1 and 2). A conveyor mechanism (13, 14) is mountedon the chassis (1, 2) which extends through the axis of the hinge.
