PURPOSE: To obtain the subject composition, comprising a specific aminosilicone conditioning agent, useful especially for a human hair shampoo and improved in conditioning characteristics. CONSTITUTION: This composition comprises a compound represented by the formula [R1 to R3 and R5 to R7 are each a 1-6C alkyl; R4 is R8 -NH-CH2 CH2 - NH2 (R8 is a 3-6C alkylene); (x) is an average number of 100-10,000; (y) is an average number of 1-10 and corresponds to an amine equiv. of 4,000-60,000] and a carrier therefor. Furthermore, the composition is a liquid cleaning medium in which (x) is 500-10,000; (y) is 5 and the amine equiv. is 10,000 or 20,000 to 40,000 in the formula.
