Regeneration of stored erythrocyte concentrates is effected by adding 20-40 vol.% of a soln. contg. 20-40 mM inosine, 20-40 mM pyruvate, 20-60 mM phosphate, 20-40 mM NaCl and 40-80 mM NaOH.
