The sensor (1) is accommodated in a support (7) comprising a tongue (18) allowing it to be fastened by elastic gripping to an existing part (15) inside the meter, the tongue maintaining the sensor (1) at a fixed distance from the rotary member (2) of the motor. The invention is used especially in electricity consumption meters.
