Method for the dispersion and control of insoluble resinates (tar) in the production of kraft cellulose and short and long fibre bleached cellulose

This invention relates to a method for the application and control of insoluble resinates in the manufacture of cellulose which comprises using two chemical compounds in three separate stages in the process simultaneously. Firstly the formation of tar deposits is prevented through the use of a compound which comprises a mixture of chelating compounds of the organic phosphate type (acids and their derivatives) and water-soluble organic polymers of the encrustation-dispersant type. Secondly any tar deposits which form are removed through the use of a compound which comprises a mixture of hydrophilic non-ionic surfactants and dispersants based on organic phosphate compounds. A process for the preparation of the two compositions mentioned is also described.
