A complete device for simultaneous provision of hot air and microwave energy can be provided. The device contains three microwave generators with wave guides 8, power pack 9 and a fan 10. The fan blows cooling air over the power pack and the microwave generators. The heated air supplied can be used for transporting away the water which the microwave energy drives out. The device can easily be moved from one cavity to another. With three generators which are connected to separate phases, a symmetrical loading of the network is obtained which also operates an asynchronous motor in the fan. The method according to the invention is characterized by portability and the simultaneous use of several principally identical devices in the same cavity. IMAGE
