摘要

This invention concerns the manufacture of load-bearing structures, structural parts and accessories, in particular for cycles and motorcycles and more generally any type of component, the section of which is hollow and regular or irregular, by means of the use of advanced composite material, consisting of reinforcements based on borum-fibre, carbon, polyaramid, glass etc. Each ply of composite material, possibly preimpregnated, is layered on a core with dimensions and shape of the internal cavity of the detail to be manufactured; the said core, made of a low-melting metal alloy, is then encased in a mould, or in a depressurisation bag or other type of wrapping suitable for exercising pressure on the composite layers and for obtaining reticulation. The next stage foresees heating to eliminate the disposable core.
