Diazabicycloalkane derivatives of the formula IMAGE in which R is alkyl, R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6, R7 and R8 are identical or different and independently of each other in each case represent hydrogen or methyl, X is chlorine or bromine, m is 0 or 1, n is 1 or 2, p is 0, 1 or 2 and q is 0, 1 or 2, where the carbon atom with bridge head function has R configuration, a process for their preparation, and herbicidal compositions which contain acetanilides as herbicidally active substances and diazabicycloalkane derivatives as antagonists.
