5-(Azolyloxyphenylcarbamoyl)barbituric acid derivatives as anthel-minticsAbstract of the DisclosureThe invention relates to novel 5-(azolyloxyphenylcarbsmoyl)barbi-turic acid derivatives of the general formula I (I)whereinX in oxygen or sulfur;R1 is C1-C6alkyl, C1-C6alkoxy, C3-C6cycloalkyl or allyl;R2 is C1-C6alkyl or allyl;R3 is an unsubstituted or substituted five-membered azole ring whichis bound through carbon and is selected from the group consistingof benzimidazole, benzoxazole, benzothiazole, imidazole, oxazole,thiazole, oxadiazole, thiadiazole and triazole; andR4 and R5 are each independently of the other hydrogen, C1-C6alkyl,C1-C6haloalkyl, C1-C6alkoxy or C1-C6haloalkoxy;and to the tautomers and salts thereof, as anthelmintic compounds.Together with suitable carriers and further assistants, thesecompounds may be used in particular for controlling helminths whichare parasites of animals.
