DELTA WING AND RAMP WING ENHANCED PLATE FINABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSUREA sine-wave like plate fin for a finned tube heat exchangercoil is provided having an improved enhanced heat transfer areabetween adjacent, pairs of holes in the plate bin. The enhancedheat transfer area includes a plurality of rows of triangulardelta wings and ramp wings which generate counter rotatingvortices to promote restarting or thinning of the hydrodynamicboundary layer and mixing the bulk fluid.
