ABSTRACTA composition of matter comprising a blendof CPVC having a chlorine content of between about60% and 66% by weight and a polymethylmethacrylatecontent of between about 0% and 80% by weight ofthe blend. The composition of matter displayssubstantially single, homogeneous phase behaviorwith the CPVC and polymethylmethacrylate beingsubstantially or completely miscible. Blending ofCPVC and polymethylmethacrylate provides aresulting blended polymeric material havingenhanced temperature and durability properties.Melt processability of CPVC polymeric material maybe enhanced by the inclusion ofpolymethylmethacrylate to form the blends.
