HANP ANTIBODY AND METHOD FOR IMMUNOLOGICAL DETERMINATION OF HANP

Human atrial natriuretic polypeptide (hANP) antibody is capable of simultaneously recognizing a plurality of physiologically active sites in the hANP molecule, namely, the disulfide bond, amino acid sequence from Cys at 7-position to Met at 12-position and the C-terminal Tyr at 28-position. The hANP antibody has a high specificity and is useful for method for the immunological determination of hANP with high sensitivity without requiring any special skill.
