catalyst attrition resistant system and its application in oxydeshydrogenation saturated carboxylic acid.the results include a bed oxydu00e9shydrogu00e9nation process of saturated carboxylic acids to form carboxylic acid,. alpha.,. beta.it is contacting the unsaturated saturated with molecular oxygen or a gas containing oxygen, and, if necessary, an inert diluent, in the vapor phase.at a reaction temperature of 250 to 600.degree.c, in the presence of a catalytic system comprising a catalyst of the general formula: fepxmeyoz, which represents at least one of the following: li, na, k, rb, cs, mg, ca,sr and ba, and x is from 0.2 to 3.0. it is from 0.01 to 0.2; and z is the amount of oxygen bound to the other elements and corresponding to the state of oxidation in an entrained flow reactor.if necessary, in the presence of water vapour in a molar ratio of the saturated acid not exceeding 0.5.we use such a catalytic system used is presented as a mass in which the catalyst is associated with at least one zeolite.
