DEVICE FOR SEPARATING THE SHOOT TIPS OF SUGAR-CANE PLANTS

The implement to separate the tips of sugar cane for a sugar cane harvesting machine consists of a framework supporting feeding and cutting discs (19,20,22,23,24,25) in front of a trough like shield (11,12,13) surrounding a revolving worm (14) which receives the cut off tips and conveys them to the side. The whole frame is adjustable for height and can be inclined. The feed and cutter discs can have symmetrical ones.
