In a novel hot-chamber die-casting machine, the wall of the sleeve 5 has an outer, coolable steel jacket 1 and a hollow cylinder 12 fitted therein, with clearances 13 for an integrated heater. The latter preferably comprises inner rings 25 of ceramic material chemically resistant to the smelt and, between these and the steel jacket 11, thermally insulating rings 26. On the mould side, the sleeve 5 is terminated by a steel disk 14 and ceramic disks 28, 29, 30, through which the outlet opening 6 for the heater is made. The rings 26 are pressed together axially via the ceramic perforated disks 31 and the thrust ring 18 by the clamping nut 19. IMAGE
