The exhaust gas ventilator 14 is mounted in an adjustable manner on the vertical chimney 12 of the hood 1 so that its pipe 16 for evacuation of the burned gases can open into the upper orifice 17 or into the rear orifice 19, a plug 20 being adapted to close one or the other of these two unused orifices, a supplementary pressure switch-controlled safety device being mounted in a fixed manner in the zone of the hood so as to act whatever the position of the pipe for evacuation of the burned gases.
