The device has exhaust gas ventilators (49) producing low pressure. Heat is supplied from hot/cold water and fresh air is supplied for combustion. A nozzle holder (6) in an oil burner (4) is heated with the hot water or cold water. Oil prefilters are provided with plastic filter inserts, and oil filters are provided with metal filter inserts. Double pipe exhaust gas lines are made of Teflon(RTM: PTFE). Measurement devices determine oil consumption, hot water consumption and/or current consumption and/or number of effected burner starts.
