Glutathione esters as prophylactic and therapeutic agents against cataracts

Glutathione monoalkyl esters and salts therefore are effective as prophylatic and therapeutic agents for cataract and as radiation-protecting agents. Among glutathione monoalkyl esters, glutathione isopropyl ester is particularly preferred.
