Method of making mastic asphalt surfacings

Preheated colour shreds from melt-coloured plastics films are applied to the freshly prepared and still hot surface of a mastic asphalt with a surface coverage of up to 95 %. The regions of the mastic asphalt remaining between the colour shreds are sanded. If appropriate, a sealing or smoothing surface layer is applied on top.
