Peptides comprising C-terminal boronic acid derivatives of lysine, ornithine, and arginine, homoarginine and corresponding isothiouronium analogs thereof, of the formula CHEM are reversible inhibitors of trypsin-like serine proteases such as thrombin, plasma kallikrein and plasmin.
