The chassis (1) or the self-supporting bodywork of the one-seater car is characterised by a support (5) and two auxiliary wheels at the rear, one (3) of which wheels can pivot and the other (4) has a fixed axis perpendicular to the plane in which the car travels. In order to park the vehicle, the front is lifted up and the vehicle is tipped onto the rear wheels, with the result that the wheels (2) used for travelling no longer touch the ground, and that the vehicle can be moved width-wise, holding it in the vertical position.
