The housing instead of being made to fit the broad side of the wrist as usual, is designed to lie on the small side (1) of the spoke bone. In order to fit these the base of the housing can be arched (2) or it or the strap can be provided with a fixed, movable or adjustable part (3). The complete housing can be designed in a flat form or bowed (4) in a direction reaching downwards, the clockwork and dial being suitably matched. The housing and/or the dial can be in an inclined shape (5). ADVANTAGE - Time and date more easily readablee since the spoke bone lies uppermost in normal arm position.
