A wrist-watch strap fastener has two arms (7, 8) connected at their free ends (19, 20) to the ends of the watch- strap and to each other so a to fold onto one another and clip together to effect strap closure. One arm (8) has a rectangular section sleeve (15) into which the end of half of the strap is inserted and held in place by two screws (16, 17) bearing on the strap after the strap has been cut to length. The other arm (7) is connected to the second half of the strap by a pivot pin, and has inner recesses (12) into which projections (21) on arm (8) clip when the fastener is closed.
