摘要
Between war heads, esp. hollow charges (2,3) in the nose and tail of a ballistic projectile, a cylindrical propellant charge (8) inside a rocket casing, is an axial connector tube (14) about which the charge and casing (1) rotate. The bearings between war-heads and rocket motor charge may be roller bearings or gas bearings. Propellant gases emerge from a ring of nozzles (4) near the rear end of the casing. The external shape of the nozzles is similar to a steering fin, as which the nozzles act. Angle between nozzle element and longitudinal rocket axis is 7-12, pref. 10 deg. ADVANTAGE - Spin-stabilised sub-calibre rocket transmits no torque from rotating rocket to warhead.
