An arrangement for the simultaneous drawing and digitisation of drawings has a flat drawing surface (1), a moving carriage arrangement (11-14) with displacement measurement devices (18, 19), an evaluation device (20) producing coordinate position values and an output device (40). The drawing surface has a digitsation tablet (2) which generates actual drawing position signals which are converted into coordinates values in the same system. A selection device (30) passes values from the first and/or second set of coordinates to the output device (40). ADVANTAGE - Enables transfer of desired coordinate values during draughting process without loss of flexibility.
