On a towel loom there is an adjustable double beat-up motion for the reed, which has a crank drive, with adjustable cross coupling to arms of different lengths, where the input shaft is at a different level, but parallel to the output shaft. The input drive shaft is coupled to the bar which has a lengthwise slot, in which a crosspiece allows movement of the bar in direction of the arrows, representing beat-up of the slay. ADVANTAGE - The loop for the towel weave is adjustable. A complicated and heavy slay is not necessary, with corresponding power economy. The equipment is durable and easily serviced.
