At least one of the two appts. (TVE, TES) has an optical section(OR), supplied with reception signals over at least on optical fibre (LWLI). The signals(OS) for the optical receiver can be supplied via a switching unit of a current accummulator (PSB), on the current supply (UN) failure. One subscriber appts.(TES) is connectable to the current accummulator, with the accummulator battery serving as an auxiliary current conice for this appts, typically, a telephone appts.
