The resonator has at least one YIG member, whose temp. dependent frequency is adjustable by a magnetic field. The frequency data, dependent on a preset frequency rated values, are generated for the control of the YIG resonator magnetic field excitation current. Correction data to several actual YIG resonator (6) operational data (8) are generated by a microprocessor (7) etc. They are linked to the frequency data to form a digital control signal, controlling the magnetic field excitation current via a D/A converter (4). Pref. the individual correction data words consist of smaller number of bits as compared with the frequency data words. USE/ADVANTAGE - For HF oscillators and filters, with temp. compensation in time variable temp. conditions.
